We know that the food we eat provides us with the energy to function. But did you realise that every part of our body, every single cell is made up of what we eat? What foods are your cells made of? Do these foods provide the building blocks to healthy, functional cells?
A good diet is always the basic groundwork for health. A Nutritionist or Naturopath will help to implement a diet that suits each individual. Every body is different, and what suits one person may not suit another, some will have food allergies and intolerances and will have to avoid certain food while others will be able to tolerate all foods.
A Nutritionist will also explore and identify any current or potential nutrient deficiencies, and the causes of these deficiencies for example, not eating enough of those foods containing that nutrient, or having digestive problems and not absorbing nutrients sufficiently.
Dietary changes and Nutritional supplementation can be helpful for preventing and treating Cardiovascular disease, diabetes or insulin resistance, weight loss, hormonal imbalances, mood disorders, immune deficiency, digestive complaints and prevention of disease.
For any enquiries, please call the Centre on 02 4268 3399, to talk with one of our Naturopaths or Nutritionists.
